Tubbed rear end
Transforming a stock wheel well into a fully tubbed rear end ready for pro street tyres.
Chassis / Cages / Conversions
Motorsport fabrication for cars that punish weak metal.
Based on Bribie Island since 2009, the workshop engineers the structures that keep high-horsepower street and drag builds straight, compliant, and ready for hard launches.

Current focus
High-load chassis work
Queue signal
Large builds near 6 months
Street Machine feature cars
Drag Challenge builds
High horsepower restorations
Australia-wide customer logistics
Fabrication services
The work is structural first: chassis geometry, cage fitment, driveline loads, tyre clearance, and serviceability are treated as one system.

Structural focus
Fixtures, weld sequencing, material choice, and clearance checks are all tuned for cars that see real force.
Why Monro Racecars
Motorsport fabrication only. The calendar, equipment, and QA rhythm are built around chassis work instead of general repair.
Proven method
Every phase creates fewer surprises for the rest of the build: paint, wiring, engineering, and final assembly all benefit from a documented metalwork plan.
Stage 1
We map out your build goals, compliance requirements, and performance targets to define fabrication scope and timelines.
Stage 2
Detailed measurement, CAD modelling, and jig setup to ensure accuracy before the first cut or weld.
Stage 3
Precision welding, mock-up, and iterative fit tests to guarantee clearances, strength, and serviceability.
Stage 4
Quality checks and delivery planning so you can progress to paint, wiring, and final assembly.
Fabrication transformations
Before/after comparisons, 4-link conversions, chassis jobs, tubs, and workshop progress.

Common build questions
Lead times, interstate logistics, repairs, and scope changes are best settled before the vehicle is booked into the calendar.
Yes. Customers have towed their cars from across Australia including Sydney, Canberra, South Australia, Western Australia, and Townsville. We work with you on timeline of your booked delivery and pick up.
Large-scale builds are currently around a 6-month wait. Rear end kits are subject to parts availability. Share your timing so we can align the schedule.
Absolutely. We assess existing fabrication, carry out repairs or redesign elements, and supply recommendations to bring the build up to motorsport standards.
Project intake
Share the car, horsepower target, intended use, race class, and timing. The team responds within two business days with next steps.
